Emergency Food Pantry
"Nourishing Bodies, Uplifting Souls."
Food for the Souls Pantry
The Food for the Souls Pantry provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Supported by donations from local grocery vendors and purchases from the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, the pantry offers a variety of food items, including meats, dairy, dry goods, and fresh or canned vegetables and fruits, based on availability.

Located in the lower level of our church at 4 Garfield Street, Springfield, MA, the pantry is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. We serve households in Hampden County, and shoppers must be 18 years or older. Proof of ID and address is requested, and income guidelines apply for USDA food assistance.
Our pantry operates like a “grocery store” where shoppers can select food items of their choice (not pre-bagged). Please remember to bring your own bags.
